Help with Uploading Drupal to 1and1

I need help with getting Drupal to show up when you type in my URL. I uploaded a ZIP File to WEBSPACE EXPLORER and cant get it to save to my URL. URL is SofTxt.info. If you type this in it says URL not Found. Has anyone uploaded Drupal to 1and1?

I'm not sure I've uploaded my site correctly

in ftp I renamed the file drupal-6.16 to index.html so that the site shows, but I'm not quite sure it's right. Few questions cropping up, will madinmelbourne.com.au show up without the /index.html?? And, bit confused with the seeing site without the admin section - I've added a module for the admin links to drop down from the very top of the page which I like so I don't need the admin showing on the main page. Can I remove it without doing any serious damage? If so how? Thanks, Dale.
